School behaviour expectations are based around our school values: showing respect, being responsible, staying safe and striving for excellence.

Our staff have been trained in Restorative Practice.  Restorative Practice in schools,  is centered on building, maintaining, restoring and sustaining relationships in a safe environment based on shared school values. 

Shared values are an important foundation for RP, as our students come from many contributing schools, all with their own values and systems.  Within the melting pot of a school setting, the school values become an expectation of ‘this is how we relate, work together in this place and do things around here’.

If required, we will ask for whanau support when dealing with very challenging or ongoing behaviour.
